Appointed Competition Tribunal Members
Competition Tribunal members, on recommendation by the Minister of Economic Development, are appointed by the President of South Africa.
Chairperson
Mondo Mazwai is the Chairperson of the Competition Tribunal of South Africa. She has been a Tribunal member since 2013, until her appointment as the Chairperson in August 2019.
Mondo has over 25 years as an admitted attorney and has experience in competition law, both in private practice as national head of a competition law practice, and in the public sector at the Competition Commission of South Africa in various capacities (including as Chief Legal Counsel and Acting Deputy Commissioner).
