The Tribunal’s Handbook of Case Law, which serves as a guide to selected cases spanning two decades, is now available in electronic format and is accessible online through the Tribunal’s website.

Authored by Tribunal member, Yasmin Carrim, and former Tribunal case manager, Ndumiso Ndlovu, the publication contains summaries of a selection cases decided by the Tribunal (and the Competition Appeal Court) since its first case was decided in January 2000.

Contents

The Handbook is designed to capture the Tribunal’s unique institutional approach to cases as well as to serve as a guide for all practitioners in the field of competition law.

Arranged thematically, it deals with substantive merger control issues, procedural matters and cases dealing with prohibited conduct and remedies.

Disclaimer

The Handbook - which will be updated annually - does not constitute the views of Tribunal members, staff, or the authors. It simply contains a summary of a selection of cases already decided which are in the public domain.
