Past and present Tribunal members collect an integrated reporting award in the Public Sector category For the second year running the Tribunal has been recognised by the Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa, partnered with the JSE, for integrated reporting in its annual report and has been awarded a trophy by the Auditor General for its clean audit for the 2016/2017 financial year.

The Tribunal also received two merit awards from the SA Publication Forum for its 2015/2016 Annual Report.

At the Integrated Reporting Award ceremony in Johannesburg the Tribunal received a merit award for its 2016/2017 Annual Report in the Public Sector category. According to the judges the annual report was written in a style that is accessible and easy to understand.

The Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa describes the awards as an “opportunity for peer-on-peer comparison and measure of good corporate governance and risk management practices”. The main objective of the award, it said, “is to encourage accurate and transparent financial reporting and full disclosure of all relevant information to stakeholders”.

For its clean audit the Tribunal received a trophy from the Auditor General. There to collect the public finance management act award was the Tribunal’s COO Janeen de Klerk and Head of Finance, Devrani Moonsamy.

For its 2015/2016 annual report the Tribunal received two merit awards from the SA Publication Forum for:

Excellence in Writing and Communication and for being selected as the second runner up in the Best Annual

Report category. The Tribunal won the Best Annual Report category last year.
