On 14 November the Competition Tribunal won a merit award for its integrated annual report, for the third year running. The annual integrated reporting awards are presented by Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa. The aim of the event is to encourage excellence in corporate governance and improve the quality of integrated reporting across all sectors. The Competition Tribunal’s 2017/18 annual report took second place in the public sector category while Stellenbosch University took the first prize.

“We’re really pleased to have received this award for the third year in a row. It is another testament to our dedication to principles of good governance and sound reporting in the public sector” said Norman Manoim, the Tribunal chairperson.
