Tribunal approves Super Group Holdings’ acquisition of Lieben Logistics and GLS Supply Chain Equipment
The Tribunal has approved the proposed transaction whereby Super Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd (Super Group) seeks to acquire LiebenLogistics (Pty) Ltd (Lieben) and GLS Supply Chain Equipment (Pty) Ltd (GLS) which are controlled by the Liebenberg Family Trust.
Super Group Holdings is controlled by Super Group Limited. The firm’s activities include supply chain services such as transportation and warehousing; fleet service solutions; and transportation of various products using different vehicles. Super Group is active internationally.
Lieben’s activities include transportation of goods by road as well as depots and satellite operations in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Johannesburg. GLS supplies various equipment products required for clients operating as supermarkets/hypermarkets.
The merger has been approved without conditions.
